Supplying us with Secondhand Books

You may be decluttering, downsizing, or have books you have never read and need somewhere for them to go. At Second Pass Books, we may be able to help.

What do I need to do?

The first step is to send us an email with good quality, clear photos of the books you want us to consider (just spines initially in stacks). You may like to include some context to aid our initial evaluation, eg books have never been read, deceased estate, etc.

 

What happens next?

We will evaluate the collection and let you know if we are interested in any or all books. We may request further photos or we may arrange an in person evaluation. Please note: we are located in Perth in Western Australia and will only accept secondhand books from people in the Perth metropolitan area at this time. This may be subject to change.

If we want your books:

Donations of books that we need are appreciated. Otherwise, we will consider the likely sale price and make an offer. We may request you deliver the books to us or we may collect them from you at the time of the in person evaluation; however, if for some reason neither is possible, then it is expected that you will cover the costs of postage or shipping to get them to us.

What we will not accept:

We do not want mouldy, stained or water damaged books, textbooks, books containing outdated or superseded ideas/information, or magazines.
